Kathryn Shewmake, Student Ministry Coordinator

We’re excited to announce that Kathryn Shewmake has joined our staff as Student Ministry Coordinator. In this role, she will be directly responsible for handling the day-to-day logistical operations of the Student Ministry in a way that helps all staff and volunteers to be exceptionally effective. Kathryn grew up at Trinity UMC in Homewood and was an active leader at the University of Alabama Wesley Foundation, our denomination’s campus ministry. Her fiancee, Jesse Davis, is the worship leader at Asbury UMC and they are getting married later this month. Kathryn has a lifelong love of the local art, great food and amazing views of Bluff Park and is excited to become part of our ministry team.
