During the course of the year, we feature a variety of special worship services to help meet the spiritual needs of our congregation.
During the Lenten season preparing for Easter, we have an Ash Wednesday service to recognize the beginning of the season of preparation for Easter. We also have two special Holy Week services – a Maundy Thursday Communion Service and a “Stations of the Cross” Service on Good Friday.
Each November, we participate in a Community Thanksgiving Service with other churches in our community. This service rotates between the different churches in the Bluff Park community and provides an opportunity for us to join with other congregations in thanking God for all of our blessings.
At the beginning of December we hold a very special Sunday Morning Service of Lessons and Carols where we focus on the scriptures of the Christmas story and sing beloved Christmas hymns.
We have two Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Services. These services are an excellent way to remember Christ at the climax of the Christmas season.
